Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician | Temp & Perm Options Available!

SustainHealth are seeking a Cardiac EP Technician to provide specialised technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures on a part‐time basis. This is a unique chance to work collaboratively with
electrophysiologists,
nurses, radiographers, anaesthetists and other members of an MDT to ensure high-quality patient care.

About the Role
n
n
Hospital setting with state‐of‐the‐art equipment and well‐established SOPs
n
Be responsible for the preparation,
operation and troubleshooting of electrophysiology recording systems, cardiac mapping systems and other associated technologies
n
Support EPs during diagnostic studies, atrial tachycardia and atrial flutter ablation, PVC ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, atrial fibrillation and more
n
Perform pacing manoeuvres and programmed electrical stimulation as directed by the
electrophysiologist
n
Acquire, analyse, and interpret intracardiac electrograms under physician direction.
n
Ensure appropriate image, data, and procedural record management.

Requirements
n
n
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with Cardiac EP Technician experience
n
Current BLS certification
n
Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab or cardiac device service.
n
Prior experience operating electrophysiology recording systems
n
Demonstrable knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and arrhythmia mechanisms
n
Experience supporting diagnostic studies and ablation procedures.
