About the Role
n
As a Cook, you will help ensure the productive preparation, production and distribution of meals and beverages to appropriate quality and food service standards.
n
Working with the Services Supervisor and wider team, you will:
n
n
Prepare and cook meals, including bulk meals, special diets and infant formulas.
n
Oversee meal and beverage service, plating, food distribution and quality control.
n
Order food supplies, collate menus and bulk orders, and support menu selection.
n
Liaise with dietitian and nursing staff, while supporting staff training, rostering and functions.
n

About You
n
We are looking for a Cook who is organised, flexible and confident working with limited direction. You will bring:
n
n
Experience preparing and cooking bulk meals and special dietary requirements.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse backgrounds.
n
Ability to work independently, use initiative,



exercise judgement and meet deadlines.
n
Team-focused, flexible and able to adapt to rostering and changing requirements.
n
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, with discretion and confidentiality.
n
