About the role
n
Eliver Family Law is seeking a Legal
Receptionist/Client
Intake Coordinator to manage reception and new-client onboarding across our two offices.
n
You will be responsible for the client journey from initial enquiry through to consultation, engagement and handover to the legal team. This is a role requiring excellent judgment, organisation and communication.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Managing telephone, email and website enquiries.
n
Obtaining initial information and identifying urgent matters.
n
Coordinating conflict checks and consultation calendars.
n
Sending appointment information, forms and payment requests.
n
Following up enquiries and maintaining accurate intake records.
n
Opening new matters and coordinating onboarding documentation.
n
Welcoming clients and providing general reception and administrative support.
n
Liaising with lawyers and support staff across both offices.
n
Helping improve the firm's intake and administrative processes.
n
n
About you
n
n
At least two years' experience in legal reception, administration or client intake.
n
Family law experience is strongly preferred.
n
Excellent written communication and a qualified telephone manner.
n
Calm, empathetic and confident when dealing with clients in difficult circumstances.
n
Organised, accurate and reliable with follow-through.
n
Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities.
n
Experience with Smokeball, LEAP or a similar legal practice-management system preferred.
