KAV Construction Group Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of carpentry and general construction tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities
n
Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications
n
Measure, cut and install timber and other building materials
n
Perform framing, formwork, roofing and general carpentry work
n
Install doors, windows, skirting, architraves and other fixtures
n
Construct and repair timber structures and components
n
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
n
Assist with general building and construction activities on site
n




Ensure all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
n
About you
n
Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred
n
Valuable knowledge of carpentry tools, materials and techniques
n
Ability to read basic construction plans and measurements
n
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
Good physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
