Troocoo Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years Intensive Care Unit experience for a short term contract in Mackay, Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ICU RN looking to secure a regional Queensland contract with a well established hospital service.

Location: Mackay, Queensland

Position: Registered Nurse – Nurse Grade 5
n
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
n
Contract Dates: 14 September ********* October ****
n
Hours: Up to 80 hours per fortnight
n
Roster: As per roster
n
Shifts: Rotating 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
n
n
About the Role
n
Working within the Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high quality nursing care to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
n
This opportunity is suited to an experienced ICU RN who is confident working in a fast paced critical care environment and can quickly adapt to a new clinical setting.
n
Essential Experience Minimum 3 years recent Intensive Care Unit experience is mandatory.
n




Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

Strong ICU nursing experience
n
Confidence caring for critically ill patients
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Ability to adapt quickly to a recent hospital environment
n
Current clinical competencies relevant to ICU practice
n
n
Desirable Experience The following experience will be highly regarded:

ieMR experience and proficiency
n
MetaVision experience and proficiency
n
Previous experience working within an Australian hospital environment
n
Previous Queensland hospital experience
n
Previous Mackay HHS experience
n
