Job DescriptionMISTER AA PTY LTD We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team in Kenwick, WA.
The successful candidate will prepare and cook a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes, menus and food safety standards.
The Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, portion control and presentation while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
The role requires the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods and contribute positively to the overall kitchen operation.
Benefits Full time employment with a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Competitive salary of $77,000–$83,000 per annum + superannuation.

Task & responsibilities Prepare, portion and cook food in accordance with recipes, menus and customer requirements.
Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, sauces, spices and other food products.
Cook food using appropriate methods such as grilling, baking, frying, roasting and steaming.
Monitor cooking processes to ensure food is prepared to the required quality and standard.
Check the quality, freshness and suitability of ingredients before use.
Ensure appropriate portion sizes and presentation standards are maintained.
Assist with food preparation and mise en place before service.
Maintain adequate stock of prepared ingredients during service.
Assist with receiving, storing and rotating food supplies.
Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements at all times.




Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen and food preparation area.
Minimise food wastage through effective preparation, storage and portion control.
Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Assist with kitchen opening, closing and cleaning procedures.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safely operate kitchen equipment.
Qualification & experience Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant full-time experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen or similar hospitality environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Experience preparing a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and established standards.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain food quality during busy service periods.
Ability to follow recipes, portion requirements and food presentation standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.
