Key responsibilities
Operating sanders and sanding equipment safely and effectively to prepare surfaces for finishing
Sanding doors and panels to achieve smooth, even finishes in preparation for spray painting.
Removing dust and debris from work areas using appropriate cleaning method
Following health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Maintaining and caring for sanding equipment and tools in good working condition
Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Reporting any issues or damage to equipment to management promptly
What we're looking for
Experience working as a labourer or in a similar hands-on trade role
Practical experience with sanding equipment and surface preparation techniques
A strong commitment to health and safety practices on site
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks
Reliability and a qualified attitude to work
