Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on QAQC Supervisor based in our manufacturing and packaging sites in Belrose.
n
You must be available to work the night shift from 10:30pm to 6:35am from Monday to Friday.
n
This is a key role responsible for ensuring that our production and packaging operations consistently meet required quality, GMP, food safety and regulatory standards. You will provide hands-on leadership and support to the QA/QC team while working closely with Production and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues in real time.
n
The successful candidate will be confident making decisions on the manufacturing floor, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and support the QA/QC team on night shift, ensuring effective coverage across production and packaging.
n
Coordinate and oversee in-process quality checks and inspections.
n
Ensure production and packaging activities comply with approved specifications, procedures and GMP requirements.
n
Review and verify batch manufacturing and packaging documentation for accuracy and completeness.
n
Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing and packaging processes.
n
Identify, investigate and elevate deviations, non-conformances and quality issues.
n
Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
n
Conduct and/or oversee line clearance, start-up and changeover checks.
n
Ensure correct raw materials, packaging components, labels and product information are being used.
n
Provide guidance and support to Production teams when quality issues arise.
n
Escalate significant quality issues to the QA/QC Manager and relevant management.
n
Ensure samples are collected, labelled and submitted for testing in accordance with procedures.
n




Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is completed within required timeframes.
n
Coach, train and develop QA/QC team members to maintain high standards of quality and GMP compliance.
n
Support investigations, internal audits, customer complaints and continuous improvement activities.
n
Ensure appropriate handover of quality matters between night and day shifts.
n
Promote a solid quality culture and right-first-time approach across the site.

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a QA/QC supervisory or senior quality role within a manufacturing environment.
n
Experience in vitamins and supplements, nutraceutical, food, cosmetics, FMCG or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
n
Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
n
Experience supervising or leading a team.
n
Strong problem-solving and investigation skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
n
Confidence making quality decisions and escalating issues appropriately.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
The ability to work collaboratively with Production while maintaining quality standards.
n
A proactive and practical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
n
The ability to work independently and effectively during night shift operations.
