Job Description
If you're a WHS professional on the Central Coast who's ready for more ownership, more impact and a chance to actually shape things, this could be the one.
n
This isn't your typical safety role where you spend your days ticking boxes and chasing paperwork.
n
It's a brand-new position created as the business grows.
n
You'll be out on the factory floor, working with people, solving problems and influencing safety, while also getting stuck into systems and projects that will shape the future of the site.
n
You'll work closely with Safety, HR and Operations, giving you great exposure and plenty of opportunity to grow your career.
n
What's in it for you?
n
You'll have the chance to build something, bring your ideas to the table and improve the way WHS is done.
n
You'll earn $90,000–$100,000 + super, 1 RDO per month, a solid safety culture and the opportunity to build your career with a global organisation right here on the Central Coast.
n
If you're currently commuting to Sydney, this could be your chance to bring your career closer to home without compromising on opportunity.
n
What will you actually be doing?
n
This is a boots-on-the-ground role.
n
You'll conduct inspections, identify risks, support risk assessments and incident investigations, and work with employees and supervisors to make sure issues are actually addressed.
n
You'll support toolbox talks, inductions, training and the Safety Committee, while managing safety registers, documentation and contractor compliance.
n
You'll also have the chance to improve and automate safety systems, so if you're someone who naturally thinks "there's got to be a better way", you'll fit right in.
n
Who are we looking for?
n
We're looking for someone with around three years' WHS experience, solid fundamentals and the confidence to take ownership.
n
You'll be comfortable on the factory floor, happy having the tough conversations and prepared to call out unsafe behaviour.
n
You'll understand risk assessments and the Hierarchy of Controls, be confident with Excel and safety systems, and know how to build relationships.
n
Manufacturing experience is a bonus, not a must.
n
About Baltimore Aircoil
n
Baltimore Aircoil is a growing global organisation with a manufacturing operation in Somersby.
n
The site has a strong safety culture, but it's not standing still. New systems, processes and operational areas are being developed, creating a genuine opportunity to help shape what's next.
n
If you want to build your WHS career, have a real voice and make an impact, without commuting to Sydney this is worth a conversation.
