Job Description
Join a growing food business producing handmade cannoli, doughnuts, tiramisu and savoury items for markets and food events. You'll work closely with the owner in the kitchen to help grow the product range and streamline production. The role operates Wednesday to Sunday, 5:00am-12:00pm. Immediate start.

Key responsibilities
n
Food preparation and production of cannoli, doughnuts and other menu items, working to strict timelines to have product ready for market/event bump-in
n
Collaborate with the owner on menu development and recent product ideas
n
Assist with product improvement and refinement (recipes, technique, presentation)
n
Support cost analysis on ingredients and production processes
n
Help develop and document kitchen procedures and workflows
n
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards throughout production
n
Pack and prepare stock ready for transport to events
n
About you
n
Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment (bakery/pastry experience highly regarded)
n
Comfortable working early mornings and to tight deadlines
n
Strong attention to detail and consistency in product quality
n
A team player who's happy to get hands-on and take initiative
n
Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure during peak prep periods
