The Opportunity

This is a true end-to-end credit position offering plenty of variety and autonomy.
n
You'll take ownership of your ledger, managing everything from credit applications and account set up through to collections, reconciliations, dispute resolution and customer relationship management.
n
Working closely with customers, sales teams and finance colleagues, you'll become a trusted point of contact who can balance commercial outcomes with exceptional customer service.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assess and approve new credit applications
n
Conduct credit checks and customer reference verification
n
Set up and maintain customer accounts
n
Manage collections and follow up outstanding accounts
n
Resolve customer disputes and account queries
n
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
n
Process credit notes, refunds and manual invoices
n
Monitor ageing reports and proactively reduce overdue debt
n
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
n
Support month-end reporting and credit administration activities
n
Work closely with sales and operations teams to achieve positive outcomes
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a Credit Officer position
n
Strong end-to-end credit management experience
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
A confident but professional approach to collections
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
The ability to prioritise and manage a busy
workloadIntermediate
Excel skills
n
A proactive attitude and genuine desire to provide great customer service
n
Experience working in a rapid-paced environment
n
