NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team at the $700 million Karara Mining project in Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to influence short-term mine planning and production performance while working with an experienced operational team. The site offers modern mining equipment, excellent workshop infrastructure and a well-developed camp with gym and recreational facilities.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:
n
n
Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules
n
Collaborate with operational teams to support production targets
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n
Promote NRW's health, safety and environmental policies
n
n
About You
n
You will have:
n
n
A Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or a relevant tertiary qualification
n
At least two years' experience in an operational engineering role on a production mine site
n
Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earthmoving equipment
n
A current Australian Driver's Licence
n
