Job Description
Customer Service Officer (Night Shift) – Adelaide
n
Location: Adelaide CBD, SA
n
Company: BGIS, National Operations Centre

Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent
n
Salary: $70,000 + Superannuation (inclusive of shift loadings, excluding public holiday penalties)
n
Shift Pattern: 10-hour night shifts on a rotating roster of 4 nights on 4 nights off, (8:00pm–6:00am or 9:00pm–7:00am). Following successful completion of training, this role can be performed 100% remotely from home.
n

Education, Experience & Skills
n
Essential:
n
n
Previous experience working in a Customer Service Centre, Contact Centre, Helpdesk, or Service Coordination environment.
n
Strong understanding of customer service principles and service delivery expectations.
n
Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
n
Professional telephone manner with strong listening, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
n
Strong keyboard, administration, and multitasking skills.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based platforms.
n
Experience using CMMS or service management systems.
n
Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
n
Minimum EF SET Level B2 Upper Intermediate English proficiency.
n
High School Certificate or equivalent.
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Certificate IV in Customer Service or a related qualification.
n
Experience dispatching work orders within facilities management, maintenance, trade services, or property environments.
n
Experience working within a KPI-driven operational environment.
n
Exposure to after-hours or overnight service coordination environments.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Respond to incoming client calls, emails, and service requests.
n
Log, prioritise, and manage maintenance requests through CMMS platforms.
n
Coordinate contractors, facilities teams, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
n
Manage urgent and critical work requests in accordance with established processes and contractual requirements.
n
Provide accurate updates to stakeholders regarding service requests and work order status.
n
Maintain detailed records, customer information, and work order documentation.
n
Monitor service delivery against KPIs and response time requirements.
n
Support reporting activities and administrative tasks as required.
n
Liaise with internal teams and service providers to assist with fault diagnosis and work allocation.
n
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with BGIS systems, procedures, and policies.
n

conveniently located close to public transport, cafés, and local amenities.

Following successful completion of training, the role offers the chance to work 100% remotely from home, while continuing to support a national portfolio through overnight operations.
