Complete Staff Solutions are seeking an EL1 Lead Investigator, to assist our Federal Government client in managing complex Commonwealth investigations.

Assignment Length: 12 months from commencement date

Location: SYD, VIC, ACT, BNE, WA
n
APS Level / Equivalent: EL1 - $***** casual hourly rate + super
n
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead a team responsible for delivering the investigation objectives, with a focus on partnership and support.
n
Case manage and quality assure complex and sensitive investigations, resulting in high-quality planning, evidence collection, briefs of evidence and reports.
n
Develop capability that reflects effective, creative practice and
contemporary/traditional
investigative strategies tools and techniques.
n
Promote awareness of the department's payment integrity response framework.
n
Review and report on investigations based on program and payment integrity with monitoring of actions to address identified challenges.
n
Provide analysis of the findings and outcomes relating to the maturity of the department's payment integrity and fraud capability, including investigations.
n
Develop and implement department initiatives to enhance investigations.
n
Develop and maintain high-level working relationships key partner agencies including the Office of Department of Public Prosecutions (Cth) and other government and law enforcement entities.
n
Assist with the execution of out of office investigative and operational activity, which may require domestic air travel and overnight stays.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Government Investigations
n
Applicants must be an Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
