State Team Leader - Property Management | Remote & No Portfolio

Location: Inner City
n Salary:Up to $124K + Commissions
n Work Arrangement: Hybrid – but almost a fully remote role! Barely go into the office
n
Lead, Coach & Drive Performance We're looking for an experienced Property Management leader to take ownership of a high-performing team and help drive performance, consistency and growth across the state.
n This is a leadership-focused position with no traditional portfolio management responsibilities. Instead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of under 10direct reports, providing direction, coaching and support while ensuring strong processes, accountability and results.
n
You'll work closely with the broader leadership team, including the GM Manager and other leaders with plenty of support around you.
n
The Role You'll play a key role in:
n
n
Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of under 10 Property Management professionals
n
Driving performance, accountability and results across the state
n
Supporting team members to develop their skills and achieve their goals
n
Implementing and maintaining strong processes and procedures
n
Ensuring the team operates consistently and efficiently
n
Providing guidance around complex tenancy matters and escalations
n




Being a subject matter expert when it comes to VCAT and Victorian rental reforms
n
Working closely with senior leadership on team performance and business outcomes
n
Developing your understanding of revenue and P&L;
n
Managing occasional escalated client matters, which may include taking on a small number of properties where required
n
n
About You:
n
We're looking for someone who has already stepped into a leadership capacity within Property Management and genuinely enjoys developing people and improving performance.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Proven experience managing and leading direct reports
n
Strong Property Management experience
n
Excellent knowledge of VCAT and Victorian rental
legislation/reforms
n
A natural coaching and mentoring style
n
Robust understanding of processes, procedures and operational efficiency
n
Confidence dealing with escalated client and tenancy matters
n
An interest in developing your commercial understanding, particularly around revenue and P&L;
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a wider leadership team
n
