About The Role
n
Working closely with the Public Health Team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support to help our programs run smoothly.
n
Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Coordinating meetings, taking minutes and distributing information.
n
Assisting with the organisation of workshops, conferences, professional development and other Public Health activities.
n
Supporting routine social media activities and newsletters.
n
Monitoring and restocking health promotion resources and program assets.
n
Maintaining administrative logs, process documents and monitoring and evaluation databases.
n
Monitoring the Public Health inbox and calendar.
n
Working closely with the Senior Administrative Officer to ensure administration tasks are completed on time.
n

Competitive salary of $77,642 – $83,793 per annum pro rata + 12% superannuation
n
Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and Entertainment
n
6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading

About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
Strong administration and organisational skills.
n
The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
n
Positive written and verbal communication skills.
n
Experience working independently as well as part of a team.
n
Confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
n
The ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
n
An understanding of and commitment to Yolŋu self-determination and the challenges faced by Yolŋu living in remote communities.
n
A current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
n
A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, and the ability to speak an Aboriginal language from East Arnhem Land and/or knowledge of kinship systems, would be highly regarded.
