The Role
n
Reporting to the Fitness Centre Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of Swim School classes, private lessons and water safety programs in a professional manner, providing excellent service for members and guests. You will work with management to assess and allocate children and adults to the appropriate swim classes each term.
n
This is a casual role requiring availability to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 12:30pm with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

Main responsibilities include:
n

Pre-planning and developing lesson structures.
n
Conducting swimming lessons/coaching sessions to meet the defined needs of the students.
n

What does the club need from me?
n
n




Aust Swim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certification or Swim Australia Teacher Certification.
n
Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certifications.
n
Valid Working with Children Check.
n
Knowledge and ability to pre-plan and develop lesson structures.
n
Minimum of two years' experience as a Swim Instructor.
n
Solid communication skills both written and verbal with children and parents.
n
Ability to think on your feet & show initiative.
n
Austswim Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics.
n
Austswim Teacher of Aquatics with People of Disabilities.
n
Austswim Teacher of Competitive Strokes.
n
