We're looking for a passionate, Support Worker to join our team in the Batemans Bay and surrounding areas on a part-time contract.
n

Hourly Rate: $***** per hr + 12% superannuation

We're particularly interested in Support Workers who live in:
n
Batemans Bay | Batehaven | Catalina | Lilli Pilli | Long Beach | Sunshine Bay | Surf Beach | Surfside
n
You'll primarily support clients within the local community, helping you build robust connections with the people and communities around you.
n
There will also be an opportunity to support a high-needs client in Bermagui, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling up to 1.5 hours each way when required.
n
What will you be doing?
n
As a Community Support Worker, you'll become an important part of your clients' lives.
n
You'll support them to remain independent,



comfortable and connected by providing practical assistance and companionship, including:
n
n
Personal Care: Support with showering, dressing, and grooming so clients feel their best.
n
Domestic Assistance: Help with light cleaning and keep homes fresh and tidy.
n
Transport: Drive clients to appointments or assist with grocery shopping.
n
Medication Support: Help maintain routines and ensure medications are taken on time.
n
Meal Preparation: From a simple sandwich to bulk cooking that fills the fridge, making mealtime easy.
n
Meaningful Moments: Beyond tasks, you're building trust and making life brighter for someone every day
n
Encouraging independence, choice and confidence
n
n

Availability we're looking for - To be successful in this role, you'll need to:
n
n
Be available across 4 days each week with Monday, Wednesday and Friday as key days
n
Be comfortable with 7am or 8am starts
n
Be available for shifts that finish no earlier than 1pm
n
Be willing to travel to Bermagui when required
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
A genuine interest in supporting our clients and making their lives better.
n
Qualified Support Worker with a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent.
n
Must-Haves:A driver's license, reliable car
n
Willingness to obtain comprehensive insurance, WWCC and First Aid/CPR
n
Current NDIS check or a police check no older than 8 months
n
Comfortable using smartphones and tablets.
n
