Working in a strategic Alliance with Thiess and Harmony, you will form part of a collaborative team, driven by shared objectives and values to deliver operational excellence at the Eva Copper Mine Project.

The Alliance will set current benchmarks for safe, sustainable and efficient copper development, supported by commitments to local employment and procurement, new-to-industry and Indigenous workforce development and meaningful engagement in the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of defining, building, and operating a major mining operation.

The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

While this role forms part of the Eva Copper Alliance, employment will be ongoing with Thiess, with recruitment and employment managed by Thiess.

The Opportunity:
n
Are you an experienced Construction Supervisor with a passion for delivering safe, high-quality infrastructure projects? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated NPI Project Supervisor to join our high-performing team at the Eva Copper Mine Project, in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia.
n
As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you'll be responsible for supervising subcontractors and coordinating the safe, efficient execution of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) construction works, ensuring delivery to schedule,



specification and quality requirements while maintaining a strong safety culture., Roster: 2:1 | Location: Eva Copper Mine Project, North West Queensland | Employment Type: Max Term contract 9-12 months

As the NPI Project Supervisor, you will:

* Lead and promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all work activities.
n
* Coordinate labour, plant, equipment and subcontractors across multiple construction work fronts.
n
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, site procedures and quality requirements.
n

About the Candidate
n
n




* Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience within mining, construction or major infrastructure projects.
n
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety legislation and contractor management, supported by excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
* Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, quality requirements and construction methodologies.
n
* Demonstrated experience leading subcontractors and diverse work teams.
n
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
n
* Effective planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
n
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
n
* Current Australian Driver Licence and White Card.
n
* G2 Risk Management and/or G3 Establish and Maintain Risk Management certification highly regarded
n
* Experience working within client-contractor or alliance delivery environments highly regarded
n
* Experience managing procurement activities and supplier engagement highly regarded
n
