About The Role

This is a full-time position, fixed term until 30 June **** with the possibility of extension. Located in Broken Hill.
n
The Administration Officer provides high-quality administrative and reception support for the Far West Medicare Mental Health Centre, acting as a key first point of contact for consumers. The role supports appointments, referrals, records, office systems, data entry and day-to-day hub operations, working flexibly and collaboratively with the local team and wider GPH administration network to deliver responsive, professional and efficient services. The service will operate seven days a week and candidates should be flexible and available to work on a rostered basis, including on weekends and outside of normal business hours, as needed.

Duties

Skills & Experience
n
n
Relevant qualifications in administration and/or a combination of relevant training and experience in a similar role.
n
Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise work, manage competing tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to engage respectfully with people experiencing mental health distress.
