About the Role
n
MSS Security is seeking a Casual Control Room Operator to join our team at a corporate/data centre site located in Burwood East. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience working within a control room environment, including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, managing access control, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate and timely reporting. A high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, security-focused environment are required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to ensure site safety and security
n
Coordinate day-to-day security operations within the control room setting
n
Manage access control, including staff, contractor, and visitor entry
n
Respond to and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner
n




Support emergency response procedures as required, including escalation and coordination
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Valid Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificationValid driver's licence
n
Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a control room operator role (preferred)
n
Experience using Gallagher systems (desirable)
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
n
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
n
