Educator

Working alongside our Director and Senior Team, you'll play an important role in the day to day running of our service, helping lead and support a team of around 14 educators. This is more than just a supervision role. We're looking for someone who wants to take initiative, contribute ideas, build robust relationships and develop their leadership skills. For the right person, there is a clear pathway into a permanent leadership position.

Key responsibilities
n
Supporting the Director and Senior Team with the smooth operation of the service
n
Helping lead, support and mentor our team of educators
n
Creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children
n
Building positive relationships with children, families, educators and the wider school community
n
Contributing to programming, planning, reflection and evaluation
n
Supporting administration, compliance and quality assurance processes
n
Helping with resources, shopping and maintaining an organised and well stocked service
n
Taking initiative and identifying ways we can continue to improve our service
n




Participating in professional development and training as you continue to grow your skills
n
About you
n
Experienced in childcare or OSHC, with 2+ years of experience highly regarded
n
Confident working with primary school aged children
n
Reliable, organised and able to take initiative
n
A strong communicator who can work well with both children and adults
n
Comfortable taking responsibility and supporting other educators
n
Passionate about providing high quality care and meaningful experiences for children
n
Keen to develop their leadership and professional skills
n
Able to contribute positively to a team environment
n
Current Working With Children Check (essential)
n
First Aid, CPR and Child Protection qualifications, relevant qualifications and a current driver's licence (highly regarded)
n
