About the Role
n
Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, this senior leadership role is responsible for the ongoing effectiveness of the organisation's risk governance frameworks, enterprise risk processes, and GRC platform.
n
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring risk management practices are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and consistently applied across the business, while enabling strong risk insights and decision-making at the executive level.
n
This is a highly visible role that combines strategy, systems ownership, and stakeholder influence, with the opportunity to drive meaningful uplift in risk capability and culture.
n
Key Responsibilities Include:
n

Owning and evolving the Risk Management Framework, policies, and governance standards
n
Acting as business owner for the GRC platform, including roadmap, optimisation, and data integrity
n
Enabling enterprise risk processes including RCSAs, KRIs, incidents, and emerging risks
n




Overseeing business resilience and continuity governance and reporting
n
Delivering high-quality risk insights and reporting to senior leadership and governance forums
n
Driving continuous improvement, capability uplift, and consistent risk practices across the business
n

What You Bring to the Role
n

Extensive experience in operational risk, governance, or risk enablement within financial services
n
Strong expertise in risk frameworks, policies, and enterprise risk processes
n
Hands-on experience managing or owning a GRC platform
n
Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
n
Leadership experience with a focus on building high-performing teams
n
A pragmatic approach to embedding risk practices in a commercial environment
n
