Based in the City of Tea Tree Gully, Waterworld Aquatic Centre stands as a premier outdoor destination. We offer three heated pools-a 50m lap pool, a 20m Learner pool, and a Toddler pool-alongside expansive grassy areas, thrilling water slides, and captivating splash park attractions.

The role Randstad is currently seeking entry-level and experienced lifeguards for the upcoming pool season from October **** - April **** at Waterworld. With three pools and three waterslides, Waterworld welcomes patrons of all ages and abilities through a range of aquatic programs, events and activities.

As a Lifeguard, you'll help create a safe, enjoyable environment for visitors while delivering excellent customer service and promoting water safety. As a Lifeguard, you'll play a key role in creating a protected, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all patrons. You'll help ensure visitor safety, promote positive aquatic experiences, and make a meaningful contribution to the community. If you're energetic, customer-focused and enjoy working with people,

This opportunity is open to individuals aged 16 years and above who can obtain their pool lifeguard qualifications.
n
The role includes:
n

Supervise pool and surrounding areas to ensure patron safety.
n
Educate the public on the Watch Around Water Policy.
n
Maintain a safe environment for all aquatic facility patrons.
n
Respond promptly to emergencies as they arise.
n
Report significant incidents to the appropriate personnel.
n
Identify and report risks within Council premises.
n
Maintain cleanliness of facility and aquatic areas.
n
Availability on weekends is essential.
n

Qualifications
n
Lifeguards must possess or be willing to obtain the following certificates:
n

Pool Lifeguard Certificate
n
Provide CPR Certificate
n
Provide First Aid Certificate
n
Working with Children Check
n
Child Safe Environments Certificate
n
