About UsDW Private Wealth is an established boutique financial advisory firm based in Canberra, providing personalised financial advice and wealth management services to our clients.
Operating alongside our mortgage broking team from our Yarralumla office, we provide clients with access to a range of financial advisory and lending services in a professional and team-oriented environment.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration and operational support functions of our office.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on office management role responsible for coordinating the administrative, HR, financial administration, client service and compliance support functions of the office.
Working closely with the business owner, financial advisers, mortgage brokers and administration staff, you will help ensure the office operates efficiently, client enquiries are appropriately managed, and internal processes and records are properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities· Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the office and coordinate office workflows and support activities.
· Coordinate the workload and priorities of administration staff and ensure effective administrative support across the office.
· Manage general HR administration, including employee records, onboarding, leave records, staff documentation and recruitment coordination.
· Coordinate routine financial administration, including invoices, accounts payable and receivable, expense records, payment tracking and liaison with external accountants and bookkeepers.




· Coordinate incoming client enquiries and referrals and ensure they are allocated to the appropriate financial adviser, mortgage broker or team member.
· Oversee the maintenance of client, business and administrative records and ensure documentation is accurately recorded and appropriately maintained.
· Support compliance and regulatory administration, including maintaining required records, registers, internal documentation and compliance-related correspondence.
· Assist management with the implementation and maintenance of internal policies, procedures and administrative controls.
· Coordinate office facilities, suppliers, equipment and other resources required for the effective operation of the business.
· Prepare internal reports, correspondence and administrative documentation for management.
· Liaise with clients, financial advisers, mortgage brokers, accountants and other external professional service providers.
· Identify and implement opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflow efficiency and overall service delivery.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in office management, administration, business operations or a similar role.
· Solid organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
· Experience coordinating administrative processes and supporting a professional services team.




· Good working knowledge of general HR and financial administration.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
· Strong computer skills and confidence using office and business management systems.
· The ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with different teams and external service providers.
· Previous experience in financial planning, mortgage broking, banking, accounting, insurance or another financial services environment will be highly regarded.
· Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, business, management or a related discipline will also be highly regarded.
What We Offer· Full-time, ongoing employment.
· Market-competitive salary of $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
