As the Property and Fleet Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operational management of HBF's national property and fleet portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Property Services, you'll ensure our workplaces, facilities and fleet operations are safe, compliant, commercially managed and aligned to HBF's broader business objectives.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee operational service delivery, manage supplier relationships, monitor budgets and compliance obligations, and provide insights and recommendations that support business decision-making.
You'll work across a diverse portfolio, partnering with stakeholders to ensure property and fleet services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include
Oversee the delivery of property operations, facilities management, workplace services and fleet administration across HBF
Manage supplier performance, service levels and operational issues, ensuring risks are appropriately addressed and escalated
Lead fleet operations, including registrations, insurance, maintenance, utilisation reporting and lifecycle planning
Maintain oversight of lease obligations, tenancy schedules, asset records and landlord relationships
Monitor expenditure, review invoices and support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities
Ensure property and fleet operations comply with WHS, risk and compliance requirements
Prepare operational reporting, analysis and recommendations
About you
You're an experienced property,
facilities or fleet professional who enjoys balancing operational delivery with commercial and stakeholder outcomes.
You bring a practical approach to problem solving, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio.
You'll be comfortable working with suppliers, budgets and compliance requirements, and have the confidence to provide recommendations and insights that support informed decision-making.
You'll also bring
Experience managing commercial property operations, facilities management and/or fleet services.
Strong supplier management, service delivery and operational governance experience.
Sound knowledge of safety, compliance, contract management and risk management practices.
Strong financial, reporting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with lease administration, fleet management, asset records or property portfolio management would be highly regarded.
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities Management, Project Management or a related discipline will be well regarded.
