SALES REPRESENTATIVE – PRINT INDUSTRY
Optima Press, based in Balcatta, is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the printing industry to develop new business, build lasting customer relationships and help grow our client base.
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Developing new business opportunities and generating sales
Managing and growing an existing customer portfolio
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
Identifying customer requirements and providing suitable print solutions
Preparing and following up quotations
Liaising with estimating, production and administration teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Managing customer projects from initial enquiry through to completion
Maintaining regular contact with customers and identifying opportunities for repeat business
Achieving agreed sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business
Keeping up to date with developments in printing, finishing and related services
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous sales experience within the printing industry
A strong understanding of offset and digital printing




Knowledge of print finishing processes and the ability to discuss print solutions with customers
Proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong customer relationships
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
A professional, confident and customer-focused approach
The ability to work independently while being an effective team player
A strong commercial understanding and a results-driven attitude
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customer requirements
Experience with PrintIQ or other print industry software would be advantageous but is not essential.
