As an Auto Electrician with Northeast Engineering your primary responsibility is within a Body fit-out role, this will include the fitment of electrical accessories to New Build vehicles.
About the Role
Fitting Electrical accessories – including but not limited to Side Lights, Tarp Motors, Taillights, Spotlights, Beacons, Fridges, Inverters, Isolator switches
Routing wiring looms
Operating and maintaining both hand and power tools and machinery
Following Safety protocols and maintaining a clear working environment
Performing quality checks and reporting any issues to supervisors
Supporting the team with general labour tasks as required
About you
Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
Strong understanding of Air Trailer brake systems with an automotive background
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong commitment to safety
Forklift License (desirable)
