HR/HC Driver – Towing and Asphalt Operators Wanted
About the Role
SL Towing Services is seeking reliable and professional HR/HC Drivers to join our growing towing and asphalt transport division operating throughout Canberra and surrounding NSW regions.
This position is for a casual part time or full time role with consistent work available and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Day and night shift opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of HR Tilt Trays and/or HC prime movers with Flocon asphalt trailers
- Transport of Machinery & equipment to a range of civil, construction and project sites.
- Transport of Oversize & specialty loads
- Delivery of hot mix asphalt to civil and road construction projects
- Daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Compliance with NHVR,
CoR and company safety requirements
- Professional interaction with customers and site personnel
Essential Requirements
- Current HR or HC Licence (HR minimum)
- Experience in towing, transport or asphalting preferred
- Load restraint & machinery transport experience (preferred)
- Good driving record and a good attitude with strong work ethic
- Strong commitment to safety and takes pride in our gear
- Ability to work day and/or night shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Desirable
- Towing and/or Asphalt cartage experience
- Road construction industry experience
- Fatigue management accreditation
