The Position
Reporting to the Technical Director and Engineering Developments Manager, you will drive day-to-day delivery of internal and external project engineering activities.
This includes development and coordination of engineering contract deliverables, interfacing with systems and design Engineers to develop solutions across multi-domain systems, project progress reporting, support for marketing proposals and bid negotiations, and other project related responsibilities as required.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the engineering development and coordination of engineering contract deliverables
Proactively interface with systems and design engineers on multi-domain system solutions
Coordinate day-to-day project work against contracted tasking, including milestone delivery, CDRL/SDRL documentation, and progress reporting
Assist with technical oversight of R&D; and Risk Reductions programs
Plan and review work packages and schedules
Provide technical/engineering support of proposals and bids
Support contract management, negotiation,



and Contract Change Proposals (CCPs)

Our Ideal Candidate
A tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, preferably in an Electronics field.
Minimum 10 years professional engineering experience.
Sound knowledge of Combat Systems, including radar surveillance, IFF and missile fire control systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage workflow, priorities, and deadlines to deliver results.
Experience assisting with the management of complex projects, including R&D;, scheduling, project finances and resource management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams, customers and suppliers.
Experience assisting with project task management; Defence-related project experience and involvement with the Defence Industry is highly desirable.
Willingness to undertake further activities as directed.
Eligibility
An Australian Citizen;
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1.
