PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To provide effective leadership and management to the Power Services Asset Quality and Standards team, overseeing the development and adoption
of commercial and industry best practice network and equipment standards delivering the most optimal trade-off of cost, risk and performance to
achieve asset defined business and asset objectives of safe, reliable and compliant network now and in the future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The "WHAT" to be delivered
Lead, manage, coordinate and develop staff to achieve Power & Waters's strategic objectives
Provide effective leadership and governance to a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the development, assurance and continuous
improvement of network and asset standards and engineering specifications for all Power Services assets.
Oversee the ongoing development and application of contemporary quality and engineering management processes and procedures to asset
standards and specification for Power Services assets
Maintain effective oversight of Power Services asset standards management activities to ensure delivery in accordance with business plans
and budget parameters, and to achieve legislative and regulatory compliance




Identify and implement process and technological changes to improve operational efficiencies in the construction of network and generation
assets, as well as the availability and clarity of supporting documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
Implement Safety-in-Design principles in development of asset standards and equipment specifications.
Make a positive contribution to Power Services through pro-active team membership, staff development, innovation, effective interpersonal
and management skills, and contributing to the development of the strategic direction.
Carry out duties in accordance with Power and Water's safety, environmental and quality, asset management frameworks, safety principles,
corporate values and strategies.
