Position Summary

provide support to clients in accordance withtheir NDIS plan.
n
Assistclients with daily living activities, such as eating,dressing, bathing and grooming.
n
Provide transportation assistance to clients.
n
Provide respite care to clients and theirfamilies.
n
Keep accurate andup to date records or clients' care plans andprogress.
n
Communicateeffectively
with clients, their families, and other membersof the care team.
n
Followhealth and safety regulations to ensure the safety andwell-being of clients.
n
Participate in ongoing professional development to staycurrent with latest developments and best practices in the NDISfield.
n

Requirements
n
n
Female (aged 30 and up) as required by the client.
n




Previous experience working with mental health and behaviours or willing to work with one
n
A minimum of high school or equivalent.
n
Certificate 3 or 4 in individual support or willing to work towards completion(highly regarded).
n
Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disability
n
Strong understanding of the NDS and its guidelines.
n
Understanding of health and safety regulations.
n
Ability to work with a diverse client base, understanding the different support needs of clients based on their abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
n
Basic care and first aid skills.
n
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoft office suite.
