Position Responsibilities
n
n
Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
n
Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG obligations across a range of client structures
n
Work alongside Partners and senior team members to deliver great outcomes for clients
n
Contribute to tax and advisory work for a diverse client portfolio
n
Build and develop long-term client relationships through proactive, reliable service
n
Liaise with the ATO and other statutory authorities on behalf of clients
n
Participate in training sessions, technical workshops, team meetings and social events
n
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Griffith office
n

About You
n
n
0-3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
n
Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
n
Solid technical accounting knowledge, or a genuine eagerness to build it
n
Experience with APS accounting software (highly regarded but not essential)
n
Good written and verbal communication skills
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Proactive, motivated and genuinely keen to learn, grow and develop professionally
