Emerald Carrying Company are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Fuel Tanker Driver to join our casual roster at our Darwin Depot.
This role is essential in supporting day-to-day fuel operations and ensuring continuity of service during peak operational periods and workforce fluctuations.
Working within a safety-critical environment, you will contribute across a range of operational functions to maintain efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted depot operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely loading, transporting and unloading fuel products
Completing pre-start, post-trip and routine safety inspections
Comply with fatigue management, chain of responsibility (CoR), and road transport law
Communicating effectively with depot operations, customers and other drivers
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles and equipment
Accurately complete delivery documentation and logbooks
Participating in required training, inductions and competency assessments
Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, compliance and environmental responsibility
About You
Flexibility to work across a casual roster including AM/PM shifts and weekends as per operational requirements
Proven ability to adapt to a variety of shift patterns to support continuous and efficient depot operations
Willingness to undertake a broad range of duties, including local retail fuel deliveries, linehaul operations (including McArthur River routes), and ad hoc delivery requirements as directed
Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to consistently follow procedures and compliance requirements in a safety-critical environment




Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced operational setting
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to team collaboration
