Daydream Island Resort is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team in Daydream Island. This part-time position, located within the FIN - Stores department, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient warehousing, storage, and distribution operations of the resort. As a Storeperson, your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality
n
Accurately recording all items received into the inventory management system
n
Organising and storing materials in designated storage areas
n
Picking and packing orders for internal departments as per requisitions
n
Performing regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
n
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the storage areas
n




Assisting with regular stocktaking activities
n
Adhering to health and safety standards at all times
n
n
The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Previous experience in a warehousing or storeroom environment would be advantageous. Operational knowledge of hospitality (hotels, resorts, restaurants) willbe an advantage.

Good written and

skills.

Previous forklift, warehouse and delivery experience is highly preferred.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work wellunder pressure.
n
Versatile availability, including weekend work or public holidays during peak season
n
Forklift license highly regarded.
n
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
n
n
This is a live off-island position. Successful applicants will be required to arrange accommodation in Airlie Beach.
