Great team workplace Genus Group is seeking an experienced HD Mechanic to join our Fleet team based in Kenwick, WA . This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance and reliability of a diverse fleet of plant and equipment across major projects. We are offering flexibility with either a Monday to Friday roster .

Work with a well-established team supporting major mining clients (FMG, Rio Tinto)
n
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of fleet and plant
n
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs
n




Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
n
Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
n
Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records accurately
n
Liaise with workshop team and fleet coordinators to ensure asset availability
n
Truck-mounted EWPs
n
Cranes (VLC & crane borers)
n
Frannas
n
Rigid and prime mover trucks
n
Earthmoving equipment (excavators 5–35t)
n
Drill rigs (T45, Soilmec, IMT)
n
Light vehicles (Hilux, Prado)
n
Trade qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic
n
Experience working on heavy plant and mobile equipment
n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
High attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
Relevant Trade Qualification
n
Current Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & National Police Clearance
n
Strong understanding of maintenance and compliance requirements
n
