About the Role
n
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Estimator to join our growing team in this newly created role, on a full-time basis in Albion Park Rail office.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and turning project requirements into practical, competitive scaffolding solutions.
n
From the initial enquiry through to tender submission and project handover, you'll play an important role in winning work, supporting profitability and helping drive the continued growth of Builtrite Scaffolding.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation.
n
Preparing accurate estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
n
Assessing labour, materials, equipment, transport and subcontractor requirements.
n
Developing practical, safe and cost-effective scaffolding solutions.
n
Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing.
n
Identifying project risks, assumptions, exclusions and cost implications.
n
Working closely with clients, suppliers, designers and operational teams.
n
Supporting project handovers and pricing variations where required.
n
Contributing to improved estimating processes,



pricing accuracy and profitability.

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who is detail-focused, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of their work.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
Experience in estimating, quoting, tendering or project costing within scaffolding, construction or a related industry.
n
Sound knowledge of scaffolding systems and construction methodologies.
n
The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
n
Experience using estimating, CAD or scaffolding design software.
n
Experience with Tekla Structures and ScaffPlan is highly desirable.
n
Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
n
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
Solid communication and relationship-building skills.
n
A current White Card and driver's licence.
n
Relevant construction, estimating, quantity surveying or trade qualifications will be highly regarded.
