About the role

As an early childhood educator, you will support children's learning, development, and daily care within a structured early childhood setting. You will contribute to a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for all children.

Tasks and duties
n
n
Provide attentive care and supervision to children in long day care and occasional care settings
n
Facilitate children's participation in play-based learning through reading, games, and interactive activities
n
Assist with organising and implementing engaging educational and recreational experiences
n




Promote positive behaviour by guiding social interactions and encouraging respectful communication
n
Monitor children's safety and wellbeing during both indoor and outdoor activities
n
Support daily routines, including transitions between activities and rest periods
n
Attend to children's personal care needs, ensuring appropriate hygiene practices are maintained
n

Experience
n
n
At least 12 months of relevant work experience in an early childhood setting
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
n
n
