Job Description

DUTIES
/n
/n
- Undertake day-to-day functions as an Accredited Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority
/n
- Assess and issue Complying Development Certificates and Part 4A Certificates under the EP&A; Act and Regulations
/n
- Prepare inspection reports and BCA assessments for various building classes
/n
- Provide clear, expert advice to clients across written and verbal channels
/n
- Liaise with Fire & Rescue NSW and fire safety engineers on performance-based solutions
/n
- Assist with fee proposals and contribute to business growth initiatives
/n
- Conduct building audits and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
/n/n
ABOUT YOU
/n
/n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Building Regulations Consultant or Accredited Certifier (Local Government or Private Sector)
/n
- Registration as an Accredited Building Certifier (A2 or A3 preferred) or eligibility to obtain
/n
- Comprehensive understanding of the EP&A; Act, Regulations, and BCA Volumes 1 & 2
/n
- Proven experience across a mix of Class 2–9 projects
/n
- Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills
/n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and BCS experience highly regarded
/n
- Must have full working rights in Australia
