About this role
You will use your skills and experience to contribute to the Centre for Aboriginal Health's work to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people in NSW. The Centre works across the Ministry of Health and the broader health system to develop and coordinate culturally responsive policies, planning processes and frameworks that support the delivery of culturally safe and responsive health services and programs for Aboriginal people and Communities.
This is a position identified for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people on the basis of a genuine occupational qualification under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

What you'll be doing
You will be working in the small, high-performing Strategy & Transformation team, within the Centre for Aboriginal Health. The Strategy & Transformation team is responsible for leading and coordinating key strategic projects across the NSW Health system to transform Aboriginal health. Key areas of focus include elevating and embedding Aboriginal voices and governance across NSW Health, addressing interpersonal & institutional racism, and coordinating and managing key strategic Aboriginal Health governance mechanisms.
