The projects are getting bigger. The team is getting stronger. Now they need the Site Managers to match.
An established construction business is entering its next stage of growth.
Having built a strong reputation delivering projects for private, government and institutional clients, the business is deliberately increasing the size and complexity of the work it takes on.
Why This Move?
- The opportunity is less about joining for one project and more about where the business is heading.
- They're strengthening the company with experienced senior leaders and Project Managers, increasing project capacity and now want the same calibre of people running their sites.
- High performers are recognised through annual salary reviews, career progression, promotions and performance incentives, with genuine opportunity to take on increasingly significant projects.
The Role
You'll take ownership of new-build construction projects up to circa $25M, working alongside experienced Project Managers and an increasingly strong senior leadership team.
The first project will be a residential development which will last roughly a year and then you will move on to the construction of Schools.
This is a genuine Site Manager position. You'll be trusted to run the site and take responsibility for:
- Programming, sequencing and driving the build
- Managing subcontractors and site teams
- Structures through to finishes and handover
- QA, WHS and site compliance
- Consultant and client coordination
- Maintaining programme, quality and delivery standards
- Working closely with the PM on overall project performance
Who They're Looking For
The key requirement is strong out-of-ground construction experience.
You'll ideally bring experience across both commercial and residential construction and be comfortable taking a project from early works and structure through to completion.
You'll need:
- 4+ years' Site Management experience
- Proven new-build / out-of-ground experience
- Commercial and/or residential construction background
- Solid programming and subcontractor-management skills
- Confidence dealing with clients, consultants and project teams
- A track record of delivering quality projects safely and on programme
If you're already a capable Site Manager but feel you've outgrown the size of projects or opportunities available with your current builder, this is worth a conversation.
The projects are getting larger. The leadership team is getting stronger. There is room to move with it.
