We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known global retailer for a Department Manager in Erina, joining an established leadership team and a diverse store environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being amongst their team — coaching, developing, celebrating wins and stepping in when things get busy.
The opportunity Working alongside the Store Manager and fellow Department Manager, you’ll help lead a store team, including Visual Merchandisers and Sales Assistants
Your days will include:

- Coaching and developing team members on the shop floor
- Driving sales, conversion and customer loyalty
- Monitoring KPIs and turning numbers into transparent actions
- Following up on performance and holding people accountable
- Creating individual training and development plans
- Supporting a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
- Identifying strengths within your team and helping people progress
- Leading from the front during busy trade periods

You could currently be a:

Retail experience is welcomed, but we’re also interested in leaders from other fast-paced customer environments who can demonstrate strong transferable leadership skills.
You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience leading and developing a team
- Confidence working with KPIs and performance targets
- Strong coaching and training capability
- The ability to follow through and create accountability
- A collaborative, inclusive leadership style
- Adaptability and confidence working in a fast-moving environment
- A genuine interest in developing both yourself and others
