About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join Orchard on a 6-month contract, taking ownership of recruitment for our growing team.

Working closely with our senior leadership team and practice leaders, you’ll recruit experienced Recruitment Consultants and search professionals across the care economy, government, health and education.

This is an opportunity to turn your recruitment expertise inwards. Rather than recruiting for external clients, you’ll focus on finding the people who will build their careers at Orchard and contribute to the continued growth of our business.

You’ll manage internal recruitment end-to-end, with a particular focus on proactively identifying and engaging high-calibre recruiters in the market. Your responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs
- Proactively sourcing and engaging experienced recruitment professionals
- Building talent pipelines across Orchard’s specialist practices
- Managing candidates from initial approach through to interview and offer
- Delivering a high-quality candidate experience that represents the Orchard brand

You’ll have the autonomy to own your searches while working directly with the leaders making the hiring decisions, giving you the opportunity to make a visible impact across the business.

About you
We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who knows how to identify great talent, start conversations and build relationships in a competitive market.

You may currently be working in agency recruitment and looking to move into an internal role, or already working within Talent Acquisition and interested in joining a specialist recruitment and executive search business.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous agency recruitment or internal Talent Acquisition experience
- Strong proactive sourcing and passive candidate engagement skills
- Confidence engaging experienced recruiters in the market
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, organised approach to managing multiple recruitment processes

Most importantly, you’ll understand what makes a great recruiter and enjoy the challenge of finding and engaging people who may not be actively looking for their next opportunity.
