Salary: $90,000 - $200,000 + Super + Vehicle (Permanent Roles)
Contract Rates: $450 - $1,000+ per day + Super (Dependent on Experience & Project Requirements)

About the Opportunity Consultive is partnering with a number of established Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 civil contractors delivering critical road and transport infrastructure projects across Melbourne's western, central and south eastern growth corridors.

With robust pipelines of secured work and multiple projects currently underway, our clients are seeking experienced Civil Supervisors, Site Engineers and Project Engineers to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects across metropolitan Melbourne.

Projects range from large-scale road upgrades and freeway improvements through to pavement rehabilitation, drainage, structures, bridge works, intersection upgrades and associated civil infrastructure packages.

These opportunities offer exposure to well-supported project teams, long-term project pipelines and genuine career progression with reputable contractors that continue to expand their presence throughout Victoria.

Available Opportunities

Civil Supervisors




We are seeking experienced Supervisors who can provide strong site leadership and safely deliver civil construction works within active project environments.
Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities
- Managing safety, quality and program outcomes
- Leading construction crews across road, drainage, pavement and structures packages
- Monitoring productivity and construction progress
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, SWMS and traffic management requirements

Site Engineers
We are looking for Site Engineers who enjoy working closely with construction teams and supporting project delivery on site.
Key responsibilities include:

- Site coordination and construction support
- Managing quality assurance documentation and inspections
- Coordinating subcontractors, surveyors and suppliers
- Managing RFIs, project records and engineering documentation
- Monitoring progress against project schedules

Project Engineers
We are also recruiting Project Engineers with experience delivering civil infrastructure packages from inception through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:

- Managing project delivery, forecasting and cost control
- Coordinating subcontractors, procurement and project resources
- Driving construction programs and project performance




- Managing stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants and project teams
- Supporting the successful delivery of road and transport infrastructure projects

About You

To be successful in these opportunities, you will ideally possess:

- Experience working on civil construction, road or transport infrastructure projects
- Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Site Engineer or Project Engineer
- Knowledge of roadworks, pavements, drainage, earthworks and structures
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commitment to safety, quality and project delivery
- Relevant Civil Engineering or Civil Construction qualifications
- Current White Card and Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
