The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Accountant to join the finance team of a major ASX-listed organisation.

Reporting to the General Manager Finance, you will support a large and operationally complex business unit, taking ownership of financial reporting across a portfolio of sites while working closely with operational stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically robust accountant looking to broaden their experience beyond traditional financial reporting and gain greater exposure to the commercial and operational side of the business.

The Responsibilities

- Own month-end reporting and P&Ls; across a portfolio of operational sites
- Analyse monthly performance and provide meaningful commentary
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Support annual budgets and weekly forecasting
- Partner with operational stakeholders across the business
- Maintain fixed asset reporting and associated controls
- Provide technical accounting support and guidance
- Work closely with Corporate Finance across reporting, tax, treasury and other requirements




- Support process improvement and broader finance initiatives

Skills and Experience
- CA or CPA qualified with circa 5+ years' experience
- Big 4 / mid-tier audit and/or ASX-listed experience
- Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge
- Strong financial accounting and month-end capability
- Confident stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Exposure to large, complex or multi-site organisations advantageous
