The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of an Employment Services Area (ESA). Working closely with a team of Employment Consultants, you will drive performance, develop strategic approaches, and create meaningful pathways to sustainable employment for people with disability. This role plays a pivotal part in building strong relationships with employers, stakeholders, and the community to maximise employment outcomes and ensure high-quality service delivery.

This role requires travel between our Armadale, Cannington, Gosnells, and Southern River offices.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and oversee day-to-day team operations, including caseload management and assessment completion.

- Supervise, train, and support employees through regular performance management and development.

- Build strong relationships with customers, employers, and colleagues to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

- Engage with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities for job seekers.

- Identify, report, and mitigate risks in line with organisational policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with WHS policies, conduct inspections, and maintain a safe work environment.

- Monitor budgets, analyse financial data, and implement strategies to meet KPIs.

- Maintain secure, confidential customer records in line with National Standards and the IEA Grant Agreement.

- Maintain accurate documentation and initiate compliance actions as required.





- Oversee the quality and timeliness of all service-related reporting and documentation.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Licences

- Cert 4 in Employment Services (preferred)

- NDIS Workers Screening check (or ability to obtain one)

- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)

- Valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence (essential)

Skills & Knowledge

- Strong understanding of employment barriers, support strategies, and employment services, including industry trends and employer expectations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.

- Knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance standards, and safe work practices.

- Sound understanding of risk management, including identification, mitigation, and incident reporting.

- Competency in maintaining confidentiality, with a strong knowledge of privacy legislation and data security protocols.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing demands.

- Proficiency in using CRM systems and IT tools for reporting, documentation, and record-keeping.

- Skilled in budgeting, financial analysis, and effective resource planning.

- Strong report writing skills with knowledge of documentation standards and case management systems.

Experience

- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision

- Proven ability to manage service operations and caseloads effectively.

- Experience working within a customer-focused or disability services environment.





- Track record of building successful relationships with external partners and employers.

- Background in service compliance, audit processes, and quality assurance.
