ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a Spare Parts Manager to join our Aftersales facility in Dandenong. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the parts function, including parts costing,



contract and SLA management, catalogues, e-commerce platforms, spare parts team leadership and stock/inventory control. This role ensures the availability of parts to meet customer and operational demands while optimising costs, maintaining data integrity and driving continuous improvement across all parts-related processes. The Spare Parts Manager plays a critical role in aligning parts operations with broader organisational goals, customer satisfaction and financial performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the sales costing across all product lines.
- Negotiate, establish and manage supplier and customer contracts and SLAs.
- Monitor supplier and partner performance against agreed SLA metrics.
- Develop, maintain and publish accurate parts lists and catalogues.
- Ensure parts documentation is aligned with manufacturer updates and product changes.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the e-commerce parts platform.
- Lead, coach and develop the spare parts team to achieve high-performance outcomes.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear KPIs for all direct reports.
- Develop and implement stock management strategies to optimise inventory levels.
- Manage stock replenishment, reorder points and min/max levels across all parts categories.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Inventory accuracy ≥99%; cycle counts completed per schedule.
- Identify and implement process improvements across parts operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety and quality standards across parts operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, OEMs and internal stakeholders.




- Provide accurate and timely parts reporting and data analysis to support management decision-making.

COMPETENCIES

- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a parts management, inventory management or supply chain role.
- Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience in contract negotiation and SLA management with suppliers and customers.
- Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems.
- Strong understanding of stock control principles, demand forecasting and replenishment strategies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining parts catalogues and technical documentation.
- Valid Driver's Licence.

This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
