About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and self-directed Allied Health Assistant to join our community team supporting Aged care and disability clients. In this role, you will work alongside Allied Health Professionals, assisting with therapy delivery, carrying out delegated treatment programs, and supporting clients to achieve their individual goals.

You will also perform administrative and compliance-related tasks to ensure smooth service delivery and quality care outcomes. This position offers flexibility and autonomy — you can choose your hours and enjoy a mix of community-based and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist allied health professionals with client assessments and therapy sessions.

- Implement and supervise therapy and exercise programs as delegated by clinicians.

- Work independently in the community, visiting clients in their homes or facilities to deliver care.

- Complete progress notes, reports, and documentation remotely, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

- Provide feedback to supervising clinicians on client progress, risks, and goal achievement.

- Perform administrative duties such as booking appointments, confirming schedules, and sending reminders.

- Maintain compliance with NDIS, aged care standards, and organisational protocols.

- Contribute to discussions, and quality improvement activities.

Skills and Experience





- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or higher qualification in a relevant field).

- Previous experience working with aged care or disability clients in a community setting.

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with aged care or disability clients is preffered

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing environments.

- Competent in digital documentation and use of CRM systems.

- Knowledge of NDIS and aged care service delivery requirements (preferred).

- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and relevant checks (NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, WWCC).

- Valid working rights.
