The Opportunity

As the Project Manager, you'll join a supportive team where each PM runs a portfolio of projects with the assistance of a dedicated Contracts Administrator, and you'll be responsible for managing both the client relationship and project delivery through to a smooth handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive construction project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to define project requirements.
- Oversee daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to plans and timelines.
- Supervise subcontractors, site crews, and suppliers to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.




- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
- Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Monitor expenses, control costs, and manage change orders.
- Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including logs, reports, and records.

The Ideal Candidate

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager for a Head Contractor / Residential Builder in Australia.
- Medium Density housing experience highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management essential.
- Knowledge of the VIC construction market and subcontractors.
- Well-presented with solid communication skills.
- Current Driver's Licence.
