Where you’ll add value
The Marketing Automation Specialist sits within the Lifecycle Marketing team and is responsible for building and optimising automated customer journeys that support acquisition, engagement and retention. Working across both business and consumer audiences, you'll help create meaningful customer experiences throughout the customer lifecycle while ensuring communications are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements.

This is an chance to play a key role in shaping customer communications across two well-established banking brands. You'll work closely with specialists across marketing, digital and data functions while continuing to build your expertise in lifecycle marketing, customer journeys and marketing automation.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Lifecycle, your key responsibilities will include:

- Build, deploy and manage automated marketing journeys using marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Develop lifecycle communications supporting lead nurture, onboarding, customer engagement and retention initiatives.
- Execute multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS and digital communication channels.
- Manage audience segmentation, customer data lists and campaign targeting to ensure relevant customer experiences.
- Partner with analytics teams to monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement testing and optimisation activities, including A/B testing and experimentation.
- Provide reporting and insights on campaign effectiveness, engagement and marketing outcomes.
- Ensure all customer communications meet regulatory, privacy, risk and compliance requirements.

What sets you up for success

- Experience working in marketing automation, CRM or digital marketing roles.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable marketing automation platform.
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing principles and lead nurture programs.
- Experience building and managing automated customer journeys and marketing campaigns.
- HTML coding skills,



along with working knowledge of AMPscript and SQL.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into action.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a range of teams.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
